Gay Games Denver 2030 XIII

Arvada to Highlight Gay Games at Fourth Friday Celebration Ahead of Final Presentation

Event to host live performance, debut of original song by local band Dear Marsha

DENVER, COLORADO, USA (September 25th, 2025) As part of the final push to bring the Gay Games to Denver, the City of Arvada and the Gay Games Denver 2030 Bid Committee (GGDEN2030) are partnering on a community celebration to showcase the Bid before Denver makes its final presentation next month.

Arvada is a critical partner of Denver’s Bid, and is thrilled to showcase their bid at their Fourth Friday event, the City’s premier summertime showcase. Local Rock band Dear Marsha will headline the event with a live performance of their song “One Pride”, which will be a crucial part of the final presentation to the full voting committee in Valencia, Spain. Dear Marsha has partnered with GGDEN2030 to write a song encapsulating the unifying spirit of Denver’s bid and its ability to bring the LGBTQ+ community together through sport, culture and song.

In addition to the live performance, the event will feature the best of Old Towne Arvada – from local art, tasty bites, and local brews. A portion of sales from local businesses will be donated to support Denver’s Bid. So come show, celebrate, and learn more about Denver’s quest to bring the world’s largest LGBTQ+ sporting and cultural event to Colorado.

Denver is  one of two cities vying to host the 2030 Games, which are projected to attract over 10,000 participants, 30,000 spectators, and deliver more than $100 million in economic impact to the region. In October, the GGDEN2030 team will journey to Valencia, Spain—home of the 2026 Gay Games—to make Denver’s final presentation before the host city is announced on October 27.
