About the Visit Denver Foundation
For more than 25 years, the Visit Denver Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been investing in the future of Denver’s hospitality and tourism industry, thanks to the generous support of Visit Denver, community partners and individual donors. Founded in 1996, the Foundation was created with a simple but powerful purpose: to help talented, motivated students turn their passion for hospitality into successful, sustainable careers.
The Foundation awards scholarships to undergraduate students pursuing degrees in hospitality and tourism at accredited Colorado colleges and universities, as well as providing targeted funding for students in culinary programs. These scholarships not only relieve the financial burden of higher education, but also connect recipients with industry networks, mentorship and real-world opportunities.
Over the years, the Visit Denver Foundation has grown thanks to the generosity of individuals and businesses who believe in the power of education to transform lives and strengthen our community. Today, we are proud to say our scholarship recipients are working across Denver and Colorado.
