The 2025-2035 Denver Tourism Roadmap launched in late 2024 after months of intensive work by members of the Board, staff, stakeholders, residents and more. All told, more than 1,000 people contributed their thoughts and ideas to this innovative plan to provide a smart growth strategy to drive demand for new tourists while enhancing the quality of life for residents. The Roadmap will help create an ecosystem that enhances the visitor experience, elevates the destination brand, and aligns with important themes related to diversity, community, sustainability, mobility, and connectivity.
In 2026 the committee will track progress on the Roadmap and make periodic presentations on its progress, which will also involve facilitating presentations from outside project owners.
The entire board will be engaged in the process throughout 2026. The Steering Committee will:
- Act as a sounding board for staff when identifying progress across the many initiatives that make up the Roadmap.
- Help identify key stakeholders and community leaders to periodically present on key Roadmap-related projects.
- Present progress reports at Executive Committee and Board meetings.
