Winter Park Express Ski Train
Denver is a ski-in, ski-out city, thanks to the ski train service to the mountains. On select days from mid-December through late March, the Winter Park Express transports skiers and snowboarders from Denver Union Station to Winter Park Resort in just 2.5 hours.

Bus Service to the Mountains
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has a fleet of purple buses called Bustang. The daily westbound route from Denver to Grand Junction follows Interstate 70 and stops in nine cities, including Frisco, Vail and Glenwood Springs. The comfy buses have Wi-Fi, bathrooms and bike racks.
During ski and snowboard, there's a handy service called Snowstang, which provides service to four ski areas: Loveland Ski Area, Copper Mountain, Arapahoe Basin and Breckenridge. The bus service runs on Saturdays and Sundays, plus the Martin Luther King Jr. and Presidents Day holidays. The year-round Pegasus, which departs Denver Union Station roughly every three hours from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and has stops at the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood, Idaho Springs, Frisco, Vail and Avon.
