With over 20 years of experience in Denver, Eck will lead the Destination Services and Events team with the same incredible standards set by Vikki Kelly, CMP.

 

DENVER (Jan. 29, 2026) - Visit Denver, The Convention and Visitors Bureau, is proud to announce the promotion of Tiffany Eck, CMP, to the role of director of destination services and events. Eck assumes this position following the retirement of Vikki Kelly, CMP, who has been a driving force behind the organization’s destination services and events team for more than four decades.

Scharf, President and CEO of Visit Denver. “Her extensive years creating magical events and delivery exceptional service side by side with Vikki have been instrumental in growing Denver’s national reputation as a top-tier meeting destination. We are confident she will continue to elevate the services and events department to execute exceptional meetings that benefit our city, community and partners.” 

 

In her new role, Eck will lead VD's Destination Services & Events team in delivering exceptional service for meetings and events in Denver. Eck and team are the primary liaison between meeting planners and the city’s venues, vendors and resources. Their role is to ensure a seamless experience for meeting planners and attendees and provide expert guidance, local insights and logistics support through the planning, hosting and post-event process.

With more than 20 years of experience at Visit Denver under Kelly’s leadership, Eck has been instrumental in executing high-profile events that have brought global attention to the city, including the 2008 Democratic National Convention, 2012 Women’s Final Four, 2021 MLB All-Star game and countless more. The team also worked closely with Visit Denver’s Sales and Destination Services team on the expansion project at the CCC, making sure improvements fit planner and attendee needs and desires.  

 

Additionally, Eck is a champion of sustainability in the meetings industry. She founded Visit Denver’s internal “Green Team” and collaborated with the CCC and partners to create a Green Meetings Directory, which connects planners with certified sustainable vendors. Under her leadership, Visit Denver became the first Destination Marketing Organization to achieve Platinum Level certification from the Events Industry Council’s Sustainable Event Standards. 

 

Eck holds a degree from Marquette University. She is a former board member and an active member of the Event Services Professional Association and has served a professional mentor under the Denver University L.E.A.D mentor program for the last fifteen years, recently being awarded the L.E.A.D Mentor of the year in 2025.  Eck resides in Denver with her husband and two daughters and enjoys spending time outdoors exploring Colorado.
