Drag performers appeared almost as early as the city’s founding in 1858, and today, Denver embraces a thriving drag community and is even the home to drag royalty Yvie Oddly and Willow Pill, respective winners of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
It’s impossible to talk about Denver’s drag scene without mentioning Lavender Hill, the city’s first official Queer cultural district.
