Civic Center Eats

Civic Center EATS is the annual food truck event that brings a variety of Denver’s best mobile restaurants together for lunch throughout the summer. Want to meet for lunch in the park? Grab a bite from your favorite food trucks every Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. throughout the summer and into fall.

Great American Beer Festival®

WHERE: Colorado Convention Center
It’s America's favorite beer festival and cultural phenomenon that brings together 500 breweries and 2,000-plus beers over three days.

Denver American Indian Festival

WHEN: Oct. 11, 2025
WHERE: Lakewood United Methodist Church, Lakewood
This family-friendly free event features music, crafts, food, dance and interactive workshops. Festival highlights will feature performances by renowned Native musicians/dancers, including national recording artist Shelley Morningsong & Fabian Fontenelle, Seven Falls Indian Dancers and Azteca Grupo Huitzilopochtli, among others. Authentic fry bread vendors and Native crafters will also be on hand to provide an experience that reflects the diverse culture of Colorado’s many indigenous communities. 

Breakfast Fly-In & Treats on the Tarmac

WHERE: Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight, Englewood
Head to Wings Exploration of Flight for a spooktastic day of trick-or-treating! Wear your costume and meet pilots as you collect candy from cockpits. Explore the tarmac and see airplanes up close in a safe, family-friendly environment. Plus, enjoy breakfast from a local food truck, watch aircraft fly in and explore interactive exhibits and simulators.

Choctoberfest

Metal & Beer Festival

WHEN: Dec. 5–6, 2025
WHERE: The Fillmore Auditorium
Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Denver is tapping the Fillmore Auditorium as this year’s home of the world’s loudest, heaviest, most extreme craft beer festival. Freshly reunited sludge/doom legends Acid Bath make their first Denver appearance in over 30 years to headline Saturday night, while Denver’s own death metal space force Blood Incantation will perform their first hometown show in over two years with an epic headlining performance on Friday night. But that’s just the (sober) half of it! America’s most metal breweries—and meaderies—will descend upon the beer capital of the U.S. to provide the essential suds to the soundtrack of crushing metallic thuds!
