Ghosts in the Gardens - Open Air Scare

Denver Botanic Gardens dares you to join us after dark for the spine-tingling stories of our haunted history. Stroll through the dark paths at your own pace as the storytellers share real staff encounters, security guard accounts and the intriguing history of the place that was formerly known as "The Boneyard." If you're feeling bold, step inside the Waring House for an exclusive visit to the Beaux-Arts style mansion and the secrets it might hold. This tour is self-guided, and you may visit the storytellers in any order you like. The tour should take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete. Storytellers will begin new stories every quarter-hour.

Halloween Songs and Stories

Denver-based songwriters Niki and Luke Tredinnick and Barry Osborne present an evening of Halloween songs, stories and spooky fun! In addition to performing their original songs about ghosts and goblins and devils and the like, they will also explore the season musically via traditional tunes and old-time ballads, as well as popular songs by more recent artists. They will also share creepy stories from their own lives and family stories. Costumes are encouraged (but not required), and costume contest prizes will be provided by oGoddess Isis Books & Gifts, as well as the artists. While the show will not be too spooky, some of the songs may contain themes of an adult nature (think murder ballads), with content that might not be suitable for children under 12.

2025 Halloween on the Promenade

This free family event (including dogs!) will offer memorable activities, photo-worthy moments and safe trick-or-treating at participating vendor booths and stores at the Promenade Shops at Centerra Mall. Guests and pups are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes for the costume contests. Children will receive a trick-or-treat bag that can be used for visiting vendor booths and Promenade Shops stores, and free pumpkins for children will be provided by Bartels Farm. In support of children with allergies, this event will have teal pumpkins placed at stores and booth vendors that are offering allergen-free items for trick-or-treaters.

Munchkin Masquerade
